Big NEWS! The Cannon Falls School of Dance

Big NEWS!

Madame Groth
The Cannon Falls School of Dance Board of Directors has conducted a very broad search for the instructor that is right for our school. It was very important to us to have found an instructor that is a good role model for our young ballerinas both on the dance floor and in everyday life. We believe that excellent values and the ability to teach classical ballet are equally important. We are proud to introduce to you Ashley Groth.

Madame Ashley Groth received a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2010. Recently, Ashley trained abroad in Italy with teachers from the Royal Ballet, Alvin Ailey Extension, and Jose Limón companies. Her training includes a wide variety of dance styles including ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop, tap, Irish Step, lyrical, contemporary, musical theater and other various social and cultural dances. While diverse in skills, Ashley loves the poise, gracefulness and challenges ballet has to offer. She feels very blessed and excited to work with the Cannon Falls School of Dance in their mission to train young ballet dancers.

It is with excitement that we announce that Madame Ashley will be teaching Tuesday’s and Saturday’s through sessions I-IV. It has been our goal sense the inception of CFSoD to offer classes on Saturdays. What a wonderful gift, to attend ballet classes when you are rested, fresh with excitement, and full of energy. The ballerinas concentration and retention of knowledge will excel. This is also a blessing for parents. One less night a week that you have to rush to fit an activity in, between school, work, dinner and bed.
